Social Protection Agency

In a Social Protection Agency located in the Paris region, a department head was facing a progressive deterioration of group functions : recurring tensions, coordination difficulties, a sense of excessive workloads and lack of clarity in work organisation.

In a context of transformation, activity growth and erosion of shared values, the general direction wished to get an outside perspective in order to asses the situation objectively and mount a tailored response.

Our proposal

Instead of a standardised response, Excellens Consulting proposed a program conceived from a precise assessment of the situation, in order to identify the most pertinent course of action.

How?

This mission demonstrates Excellens Consultings’ capacity to explore an issue before selecting a response, and then to design a tailored intervention.

  1.  Exploratory analysis: Understanding the situation-problem, qualifying the real need and identifying the proper course of action.
  2. Answer architecture: Building a tailor-made proposal, adapted to the context, the degree of complexity of the situation and the needs of the governance.
  3.  Scope of the mission: Securing win conditions for the intervention by clarifying objectives, scope, roles, expected contributions and means of communication
  4. Accompanying change: Deploying the selected program and producing the necessary assistance to decision-making and action.
  5. Evaluation and consolidation: Sharing lessons learned, formalizing recommendations and conditions for their long-term adoption.

Our role

  • Producing an exploratory analysis to precisely qualify the need and orient the intervention towards an audit of existing processes.
  • Deploying a program combining group questionnaire and individual interviews to gather qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Formalising an intervention framework shared with governance during a scope definition meeting.
