TAKOMA’s XR team participated in Laval Virtual World

On April 22 and 23, 2020, TAKOMA’s XR team, as well as 10,000 people participated in #LavalVirtualWorld, the digital version of the Laval Virtual Show. They were able to attend conferences and exchange with other players in the XR world. This 100% virtual event allowed our team to see the latest technological advances, such as the Ultraleap and the HoloLens2 and Varjo helmets.
The usual discussions about development tools were also part of the event, as #LavalVirtualWorld’s software was made with Unity 3D.
Trainings on mobile devices, such as Oculus Quest and its hand tracking was the talk of the conference.
Congratulations to the Laval Virtual team who succeeded, in the current situation, in organising this event that will be remembered.

Two of our VR experts, Bernard Cocchi and Antony Monnet, were among the show’s visitors, so that they could help us get acquainted with some new features!

Video Learning by Takoma

Video Learning by Takoma

Takoma has included Video Learning since 2012 in its global design offer of tailor-made training solutions. We design training solutions that promote an active pedagogy in which the learner is at the heart of the learning, thus surpassing didactic videos where the learner is passive.

AppLO mobile application

AppLO mobile application

Takoma is developing a new mobile application called AppLO. This application is an indexing, management and content dissemination LO (Learning Object) platform. It provides access to a knowledge base in the form of a Cloud, hosting documentation, training content, and a range of resources for the customer, depending on their specific ecosystem. The application manages content, displays follow ups in real time and allows to consult offline content previously downloaded.
